The Hellenic Institute of Architecture (EIA) and the Master's Program "Lighting Design", of the School of Applied Arts and Sustainable Design of the Hellenic Open University (E.A.P.), have announced a pan-Hellenic student competition for the design of a standard lighting fixture for undergraduate and postgraduate students enrolled in Higher Educational Institutions of Greece. On Sunday, July 2, 2023, at the National Research Foundation, the proposals were awarded as well as all the entries, which were presented in an exhibition. As part of the competition, an evening will be held with discussions between architects and lighting designers that were about lighting design, the effects of light on people, culture and science. BRIGHT, as a supporter of the event, created innovative new technology lighting fixtures that were displayed in the venue. BRIGHT's offer to the three winners of the pan-Hellenic Light Up student competition was the provision of services for the photometric certification of the lighting fixtures, since our company has the only accredited photometry laboratory in Greece according to ISO 17025.
